With the undivided support of Novelis’ CEO, Phil Martens, and under Leslie Joyce (Chief People Officer) and Joanne McInnerney’s leadership, Novelis successfully created an integrated global talent management program in under 3 years. With strategic direction for all global talent acquisition,
development and deployment under one umbrella, Novelis talent is managed from recruitment through retirement. Talent initiatives are aligned with global business priorities and effectively attract, develop and retain talent that drives business value. Prior to the implementation of a Talent Management function, there was no career page and no “high potential” bench, international assignees were forgotten with no path back and global leadership development was non-existent. We exist as a professional association to serve our members, our communities and our profession in workplace learning and performance.
Regardless of your role in this profession, this chapter seeks to provide you with the skills, knowledge and resources you need to deliver value in your organization.
As one of the larger chapters in the overall Association, we serve our constituents through a wide array of events, conferences, networking, collaboration and volunteerism. Through various communities of practice we enable our members to select the topics, content and role they wish to play in the chapter’s ongoing activities.
