    POSITION SUMMARY
    As a member of the Enterprise Operations Training team, this position is responsible for working with the business and Trainers to develop training courses and staff training materials. This includes the development of blended learning methods and tools for courses including instructor led and web-based training.

    ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Creates new training content on and/or for enterprise online systems. Designs course structure and development timeline.
    • Develops blended learning courses that target a variety of learning styles and incorporates various media tools.
    • Leads and coordinates training projects, updates SharePoint, and acts as a liaison between the Department and end-users.
    • Maintains application user documentation, procedures and training material programs. Updates manuals/courses in accordance with policy and/or criteria changes.
    • May update and maintain desk level documentation.
    • Performs miscellaneous duties as assigned.

    CORE COMPETENCIES / KNOWLEDGE & SKILL REQUIREMENTS

    • Strong eLearning development skills (Captivate, Articulate, etc.) HTML
    • Strong management, time management, organizational skills, multi-tasking abilities and be self-directed.
    • Strong analytical skills, knowledge of adult learning principles, and instructional design skills (including one or more of the following: eLearning, Instructor-led training, action learning, and informal learning solutions).
    • Knowledge of adult learning principles, ROI, ADDIE model, or SAM model is required
    • Ability to present ideas clearly and concisely, and to translate ideas into effective written communication.
    • Ability to work within a collaborative environment and within aggressive time frames.
    • Strong team skills, project management skills, and time management skills and multi-tasking abilities.
    • Excellent English grammar with composition, editing, and proofreading skills.
    • Knowledge of Enterprise policies, procedures and guidelines.

    EDUCATION, TRAINING & EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

    • Minimum of Bachelor’s degree is required. Major in Adult Education or Instructional Technology is preferred.
    • A minimum of 3 years related experience.
    • A minimum of 1 year of related experience in technical writing, instructional design, and/or training

    COMMUNICATION & INTERPERSONAL SKILLS

    • Written: Ability to clearly present written information and findings.
    • Verbal: Ability to effectively communicate concepts and other information to all levels of employees and management across the Enterprise.
    • Interpersonal: The ability to interact well with employees and outside contacts.

    SIGNIFICANT CONTACTS

    • Internal: Various levels of enterprise-wide staff.
    • External (if applicable): Vendors.

    ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS—PHYSICAL POSITION REQUIREMENTS, MACHINES, SOFTWARE APPLICATIONS AND/OR EQUIPMENT USED:

    • Must be PC literate; MS Office skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) with strong skills in Microsoft Project, Visio, Captivate, and Web Authoring tools.
    • Able to work standard office equipment (personal computer, photocopy machine, fax machine, etc.).
    • Ability to work on a computer up to 7 hours a day.
    • Regularly required to sit for long periods of time, and occasionally stand and walk. Regularly uses hands to operate computer and other office equipment.
    • Close vision required for computer usage.
    • Occasionally required to stoop, kneel, climb and lift up to 25 pounds. Ability to maintain consistent, regular attendance.
    • Ability to report to perform tasks in a physical work office environment.

    WORKING CONDITIONS

    Standard office environment without unpleasant or hazardous conditions. Work requires typical physical demands required for office work.
