Navigating the road to your next career opportunity can be challenging, especially if you haven’t been on the road in a long time. How successful you are at reaching the door to the job you want and how happy you are once you get there depends on how well equipped you are to handle the challenge. In Navigating the Road to My Next Career Opportunity, career counselor Richard Morgan will provide participants with invaluable advice on

  • developing a winning resume,
  • using social media to network
  • creating your personal brand,
  • acing the behavioral interview, and
  • defending your worth at the negotiating table.

Whether you’ve already started the journey or you're seriously thinking about making a change, this one hour Lunch and Learn presented by the Career Development SIG will give you a bird’s eye view of what to expect on the road to your next career opportunity and equip you with the tools you need to overcome obstacles that may lie ahead.

Richard Morgan possesses more than 20 years of professional business experience in key regional and national business/brand development roles with organizations such as The Kroger Company and Krispy Kreme. On a personal note, Richard enjoys SEC football (Roll Tide!) and giving back to the community.
