When developing technical training, how much content is enough? How much is too much? This session will look at some of the methods and tools being used to manage and re-use content and reduce development time in technical training.
Guest speaker: Bob Wood, Sr. Program Manager, INPO
Bob has been responsible for technology-based training as a manager and an individual contributor since 1994. He worked for 14 years as a manager for web-based training development and implementation for a utility in Southern California. His current role is Sr. Program Manager for the Future of Learning Department at the Institute for Nuclear Power Operations (INPO). Bob has helped launch an industry learning management system supporting 26 utilities at 65 nuclear plants in the U.S., and is now working on a project to implement a Learning Content Management System. He also designs and develops training courses for web and classroom delivery.
Bob has an MBA and a Masters in Instructional Design and Technology. He is married and currently lives in Marietta, Georgia.
