Managing the Multigenerational Workforce will review generational factors affecting organizational culture.

As generations continue to work more closely together in a number of professional settings, leaders will be tasked with managing varying degrees of employee interaction brought on by diverse ideologies, values, and employment principles.

These distinct generational differences result in emergent learning orientations and interpersonal patterns that impact organizational culture if not managed effectively. This class will focus on new interpretations to assist organizational leaders with management of complex characteristics demonstrated by each age group within the workforce. A foundation for leaders will involve understanding generational factors for each age cohort to support productive interactions and organizational health.

Presenter: Florida Starks is the Area Training Manager in Business/Government Operations for Verizon Wirelsss.  Her leadership record includes developing learning structures, achieving organizational objectives and developing high performing teams. She is an experienced instructor and manager of corporate education with +12,000 cumulative teaching hours focused on leadership, team development and organizational performance management.
