2014 CPLP Study Group Kickoff
Professional Development

Note: This is a live event.

Are you ready to take the next step in your career?

The ASTD Certification Institute’s Certified Professional in Learning and Performance Certification (CPLP) provides a way for you to prove your value as a workplace learning and performance professional to employers, and to be confident in the field.

The ASTD Competency Model defines what T&D professionals need to know and do to be successful in the field – now and in the future. You will develop a greater understanding of T&D’s most pressing skills gaps. You will learn how to prepare for the future faster by aligning your own learning and development plans to the new Model. You will discover how can T&D professionals distinguish themselves in a competitive marketplace and the specific skills needed by T&D professionals to stay agile and ahead of the curve?

Most important, this informational session will introduce you to the new ASTD Competency Model for the T&D profession. Our special speaker, Brandon M. Grubesky, Manager, Chapter Services for ASTD National, will discuss the foundational competencies underpinning our profession and the Areas of Expertise required for various roles.

We look forward to seeing you at the live kickoff event to answer questions and provide more information!
